Who is ‘Tiw’?
Tiw is the name of one of the whibdatt cartoon series characters, which I adopted as a nickname -what’s in a name, anyway-

I graduated from Sabanci University – Computer Science and Engineering in 2005, and have been working as a Software Engineer & Application Developer in the IT sector since then.

Currently doing my MSc. in Computer Science at VU Amsterdam(where Tanenbaum is) with a specialization on multimedia.

My interests include:

  • Multimedia
  • Mash ups

  • Computer Graphics and Animation
  • Edutainment
  • Human Computer Interaction
  • Computer Vision & Image Recognition

  • Film making

What I like:

  • reading science fiction and fantasy books while walking on a thread mill
  • listening to symphonic || epic || power metal music while coding
  • watching video-casts that make me actually learn something
  • dice rolling, role playing
  • playing computer games (mostly MMORPG, turn based strategy or tower defense games)
  • playing around with new computer applications and tools
  • using gadgets that make life easier and more fun (like wearing functional clothes || bags || accessories)
  • swimming, diving and the idea of camping
  • sushi, onigiri, ramen, water mellon, yogurt, cinnamon tea
  • cats, owls, pandas, turtles, and the baby versions of many other animals ^^
  • watching over and over:
