This is the re-make of a parking interface I have designed for an Interface Design course when I was in the university.
I added some text, and audio for which I have to credit Matt Uelmen this time.

Nice idea but i want a detailed demo, as far as i think this system would not work just 1D, a simple elevator is not enough and i think elliptical movement ,maybe some rails for multi-directional parking is also necessary.

I like the music!

In the netherlands it might be hard to build such a system, digg a hole six cars deep and you have to deal with the groundwater. It can be done but it would become expensive.

Maybe we have to thing of smaller cars? i see those smart cars (really small car, fits just two people but otherwise just a capable as a normal car)sometimes. I think for 90 percent of all car trips in the city such car would be sufficient. If just half of those people got such a car I think it would reduce traffic and parking problems a lot.
